Establishing an Equipment and Labor Exchange
Between the Town of Akan and the Town of Dayton
The Town Board of the Town of Akan, Richland County, Wisconsin, has a policy agreement
between the Town of Dayton to exchange equipment and labor.
This policy, adopted by a majority of the town board with a quorum present, provides for the
exchange of patrolman labor and equipment as follows:
The Town of Akan and the Town of Dayton shall pay for its own patrolman for work being done.
All major storms will be handled on a case by case basis. Each patrolman will keep track of hours worked so that it will balance out with their job sharing hours. Each patrolman is covered by their own insurance and Workers Comp.
The purpose for this policy is for the safety of both patrolman in both the Town of Akan and the Town of Dayton.
This policy is effective as of this 13th day of August, 2015.
