RESOLUTION # 11-10
Adopting a Grievance Procedure for Town of Akan Employees.
WHEREAS, the Town of Akan in Richland County, State of Wisconsin wishes to provide a comfortable, productive, legal and ethical work environment with respect and responsibility towards each other by encouraging informal resolution of an issue in the workplace; and
WHEREAS, the Town does understand that sometimes a more formal approach is taken and wishes to provide guidelines for these times; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board for the Town of Akan does hereby adopt the attached Grievance Procedure for all of its employees, in accordance with Wisconsin Stats 66.0509 and thereby containing all requirements set forth in 2011 Wisconsin Act 10 affecting every Town, village, city and county that does not have a civil service system in place.
Adopted this 13th day of October, 2011.
To become effective upon its passage and posting. Post in 3 places within 30 days of adoption pursuant to s. 60.80 Wis.
